We are an internet marketing start-up and we’re passionate about creating a great user experience.  We need remote QA Testers who will make sure that the job is done right in collaboration with our Development and Marketing teams.

We hire talented QA Testers with experience in testing web applications, customer-centric who listen and seek to understand, learn quickly, demonstrate wise judgement, help colleagues, take smart risks and achieve great results.

In this role you will be working alongside with the Development and Marketing teams testing our sales funnels and platforms with the goal of minimizing/ avoiding mistakes, increasing the timely and quality of our deliverables and product development.

This role is an expansive role, allowing (over time) an increase in responsibilities, platform access and opportunities subject to periodic personal evaluation of your work and the increase of trust. In this position, you will be required to learn, grow and take on new responsibilities.

Job Specific Requirements

• Build and maintain a testing environment, methodologies and documentation

• Create test plans and test cases which map back to business/marketing requirements

• Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.

• Ability to work in development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded

• Ability to deliver results under pressure

• Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and team building skills, working with technical and non-technical individuals

• Willing to take initiative in their work

• Implement improvements in test methods and strategies.

• Review/analyze test data procedures and provide recommendations for improvement

• Review/analyze test environment and provide recommendations for improvement

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent course or with 2-3 years of relevant work experience in reviewing technical and functional specifications and in testing various products and/ or web applications

Knowledge and Technical Skills

• Good firm understanding of the internet, web pages and browsers (including mobile)

• Experience doing QA testing

• Experience with browser compatibility testing and web based applications

• Excel, Spreadsheets, Google Docs

• Must have good verbal and written English communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate QA tasks and priorities for each project including QA/ testing needs with the Dev Team, Marketing Team, among others involved in the process

• Adaptability in working with a culturally diverse  team in a remote setting work arrangement
